I’m excited to share a bit about myself with you. My passion towards the world of marketing has inspired me to create this space, where I will share my journey, learnings and insights, along with the projects I have led and been part of.
Over two years at IIM, I immersed myself in a world of business, learning, and self-discovery, delving into topics ranging from marketing and strategy to finance and operations. But beyond textbooks and lectures, it was the hands-on experiences, case studies, and collaborative projects that truly broadened my horizons. I learned the art of decision-making under uncertainty, started professional networking, and polished my leadership abilities and analytical skills.
With the knowledge and insights I’ve gained along the way, my professional journey has been filled with ups and downs, victories, and ongoing development. One of my major accomplishments has been spearheading Growth strategy initiatives that have enhanced brand growth and brand awareness. Through meticulous planning and execution, I’ve scaled up campaigns by threefold, achieved a remarkable 30% increase in customer base, and generated over 7 lakh high-quality leads. I’ve also had the privilege of leading diverse teams and spearheading BTL as well as ATL campaigns, managing brand activations and cultivating partnerships with some of India’s largest malls, retail spaces and educational venues.
Through effective communication, strategic negotiation, and adept objection handling, I cultivated strong partnerships with B2B as well as B2C customers, that delivered tangible results. Moreover, my experience in managing P&L and budgets has allowed me to ensure the effective allocation of resources for these campaigns.
Despite facing initial rejections and challenges where campaigns didn’t kick off smoothly, my determination and consistent efforts in researching market dynamics, understanding customer needs, and incorporating feedback led to eventual success. Market research and analysis has been a part of almost all the projects and work I have been involved in. I believe it is a fundamental driver for informed decision making and strategic planning. Whether it was for launching new centres, refining a brand strategy, or devising a targeted marketing campaign, understanding the market landscape, consumer preferences and competitive dynamics has helped me to identify opportunities and anticipate challenges, enabling my teams to stay agile and proactive in our approach.
Every project I have contributed to has served as an opportunity to innovate and excel. My dedication and diligence have garnered recognition across various platforms, notably earning me the honor of being named one of the Top 5 best performers at BYJU’S. Additionally, the team I led achieved distinction as the Best Performing Hub/Team Pan-India. But beyond accolades and titles, what truly motivates me is the relentless pursuit of excellence and the opportunity to create a meaningful impact.
As a business professional and marketer, I strongly believe in the importance of staying digitally aware in today’s rapidly changing landscape. With this in mind, I’ve dedicated time and energy to mastering Business Intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau. This investment has empowered me to leverage data effectively for strategic decision-making. Furthermore, I’ve proactively embraced digital marketing trends, including social media marketing and content strategy, where I continually explore new avenues to engage and connect with audiences.
